Our Forensic Peer Support Training is a continuing education opportunity for Certified Peer Support Specialists. The training is designed to fill gaps in supportive services for justice involved individuals. The training offers a mutual-learning approach that is grounded in the philosophy and fundamentals of peer support services. Participants will understand the impact of forensic peer support and be introduced to the Sequential Intercept Model as a primary tool for effective forensic support. We will share information about techniques and resources to support individuals navigate within and beyond the criminal justice systems.
